I just happened to notice between last night and this morning that the schedule shown on the intranet (and thus the one we use in the studio), and the normal one on the external site are substantially different. Are they not interconnected? Shouldn't they be?
While I'm on the subject, there are at least 11 (I stopped counting at that point) spelling mistakes in the intranet version. I know you'll probably think that's really anal, but there you go, that's just me and I'm really really picky about spelling in the public domain… …even The Sun usually gets its spelling right.
I am in charge of updating the intranet schedule and Matt as webmaster is in charge of transfering the information to the external site as and when he can find time to do so.
Sorry about the spelling mistakes. If you can email them to me I will correct them.
Thanks,
Vic.
Hi Charles,
Yep, it's my fault if the external schedule is out of date. The reason I've not linked the two, is that the Intranet version is there to be updated by the Programme Controller on an adhoc basis if there is show change for a limited time (or just that week).
Therefore the idea is that the schedule on the main website is the 'default' version. This therefore means I only update it every couple of months or when Mr. Moont advises me.
Matt
